You'll get the maximum of what every other working single person gets. Depending on how much u made last year as well. You just lost 3k for not claiming your daughter. I assume if u made around 20-30k you'll get $1,500 - $2,500 back....Use the Turbo Tax calculator and it'll give u an accurate number of how much u should be getting back

How are you guys filling out your W4? Some of you cats are getting WAY too much back during tax season.

A large lump sum is nice, but why not get those small amounts throughout the year? I already updated my W4 to get that $2,800+ or so split up throughout the year. A single guy with no kids should not be getting refunds this high...you are shorting yourself throughout the year.

because this is season in here. Half the people here don't make over 25k a year let alone getting 50% of their gross tax so they can get a huge tax return... The shyt does not add up.

well it looks like some of them are getting earned income credit plus a child when i was making about 10.50/hr and claimed my son i got around 6k.

now a days i pay 20k+ in taxes and will be lucky to get over $300 back. lol

i'm single with no kids live in an apartment so to do my taxes i basically let it download my W2 and say no to everything then file.

i ended up getting back like $584 from the federal and i own the state of Michigan $2. the only way you're getting back thousands is probably through clamming kids or if you're in school.

i remember those days for me when Tax season used to mean something and my tax refunds would be bigger than my actual paychecks. this year my refund was so small i usually blow more money on pure junk on one paycheck that that check was.
