It's only really worth holding onto prospects you think will come up the year. It's really not worth grabbing someone who is a year or two away cause you only get one full season out of them at best.

Which is basically what I'm running into with moncada but supposedly he's up in early may

Lol I have these guys for next two seasons...

And that's not including all the draft picks I'll get when I get my team at the trade deadline.

yeah thats the thing, the nature of the draft really makes it possible for anyone who takes it seriously to turn around their team in one year.... u can im sure build super team with the right prospects but its only 5 players u can keep... i just dont know how much effect it would make...

like a great prospect, could live up to all of his expecttions and have a good first season... but he still isnt going to be an allstar

I'm basically hoping that next year when I make a run people like moncada and benintendi will be top 50 players to add on top of a good draft situation.
