Looks great.

The Coens have been dropping classics for four decades :mindblown:

There never was a stigma, just fukkboys pretending first quarter movies can't be promising.

BvS is coming out in march, launching the blockbuster season earlier than the recent early april of the past few years so things are definitely changing

I think it always depends on what you're into. I can normally find something through those months. Like haywire in 2012, hansel and Gretel the next year and safe haven. That's off the top of my head tho I'm sure someone could find more. all depends on what you're into

Well, BvS is gonna be a shytty movie so I guess that one fits your profile of March releases sucking ass, but generally blockbuster season doesn't equal must-watch cinema. There's tons of releases in the first three months that are worth catching if you're not a casual pleb.

So nobody saw it? Or were you all kinda indifferent to it as I (surprisingly) ended up being? It is a movie of great ideas and even many great scenes but it never seems to gel together and make it work as a coherent experience. Like Inside Llewyn Davis it just ends up feeling sorta "there". I hope this doesn't mean that the Coens are slowly entering their second slump.

I enjoyed it.
I got a soft spot for movies set in pre-television era Hollywood. It was basically a homage to that era but I liked it for what it was :yeshrug:
Low key the dance number with Channing Tatum was dope.
