Jews went from dang near nikka status to essentially having white privilege and minority status at the same time. Plus they got more pull in politics, both in front and behind the scenes.

Indians couldn't come over unless they had some $$$ or degrees in STEM. Basically picking the cream of the crop....of course they'll do well.

Quiet as it's kept, Indians actually drive up the average Asian income...by a lot. When stats say "Asians make the most" it's really Indians pulling in that major $$$. Filipinos do surprisingly well because they have a lot of nurses making bank. Everybody worried about Soo Young and Mr. Lee but ol Mr. Patel is the one making moves. The often speak good English similar to many Africans which gives them a leg up on the East Asians who

Lots of Indian in tech so this isn't as surprising. Lots of Indians in engineering of course but also a lot in sales, biz dev, and management and leadership roles. Also a lot of Indians are very educated. When you combine the tech boom with indians being in tech,it's bound to happen. I think most of those ceos are also born in India as opposed to indian American.

This is cherried picked data. There are about 1.4 Billion Indians in India and most live in abject poverty. Only a super tiny minority of wealthy educated Indians are able to immigrate to the US.
