Nothing will come from this. People will forget in a week or so, another shooting will happen, more anger, more talk about how we need changes and then we will forget again. Rinse and repeat.
I feel like the main difference between this generation today and the generation of old like back in the 60s and back, is that black people were reunited against a common enemy. A common threat if you will. The whole country was basically against us so we had to depend on each other. There was pride in that unity.
I believe it would have to take some sort of major catastrophic event that would shock us back into being on that kind of energy again.

It is politics and sometimes unfortunate but it is what it is and I know that KLB will condemn this event herself hence a cultural reset would both spare a Black life and shield Black politicians of criticism because of the abhorent actions of Black individuals whom they are not responsible for but will be made responsible for because they happen to govern in a city where these types of things take place.
