There's a lot of people thinking every business is going to recoup with their insurance and rise again. I see people saying, "we didn't own those buildings anyway!"
They don't realize how that's not how this shyt works. There's no guarantee about any of that happening. I feel like what needs to happen is that there needs to be a concerted effort by black investors and real estate professionals to essential buy the block back when the time comes.
That's probably the most effective way to combat gentrification that's coming in these areas
