What kills me about these Latinos talking about "my community" and shyt is that these new arrivals ain't even been around the block long enough to know the racial history that preceded them in the neighborhoods they NOW live in.

Gage Park was where MLK Jr. got hit in the face with a brick which made him proclaim Chicago as the most hate-filled city in North America.



Gage Park was due for a comeuppance. It's unfortunate y'all recent Latino immigrants are the ones there to have to reckon with the sins of that community.

Yea i apologise for making it seem like im racist towards Latinos...i just grew up around alot of Spanish speaking folk who used the word nikka..but didnt really rock with black folks like that and i got into alotta shyt with them over the years for checking them on it.

But i always show respect..because i have a great respect for the way they carry their culture everywhere they go....so much so that when i meet a latino who cant speak spanish its almost disappointing to me Lol..

They still over there on 87th and Lafayette looting. That area is going to be fukked up For a while. That’s like the only major large scale shopping center south. It will take a while for those businesses to get back up, especially the smaller black owned ones(if those open at all) Who knows how insurance will deal with all this

I'm so pissed off. thats my area, and it's destroyed. I went out at 6am to get my girl gas (lot of gas stations are closed still) and everything was fukked up. dollar stores burned up. walmart was smoking on the inside. home depot was fukked up. jewel, aldi, food 4 less, all the shoe stores. verizon and sprint. only places I didn't see get damage are harold's and the beauty supply store that used to be a best buy cuz it's boarded up. went over to cottage grove and the nike store is destroyed, walgreens is fukked up.

there's older people who will need medications and food that aren't going to have access to that stuff now. I have a car, so I can at least drive to get shyt, but what about other folks who cannot?

there's literally nothing else to loot.
