Black folks have been looting and burning all over the south side, and the Latin Gangs have been posted up stopping them from coming into their neighborhood tearing sh!t up. Back of the Yards, Pilsen and Little village are mostly unharmed. The Mexicans in Chicago held down their hoods last night, while we tore ours up, including blocks and blocks of black owned businesses. And that's not absolving them from their regular BS, Latin Souls and the 29, and Latin Kings been beefing forever and causing drama, but they policed themselves the last few days.
I'm honestly mad about it, folks destroyed almost every store in my old neighborhood last night (Roseland) pharmacies, clothing stores, dollar stores, grocery stores, shoe stores, WIC store all of it. And this morning folks are going to wake up and not have a place to buy food and have to go give all their shopping and tax money to white neighborhoods for the foreseeable future.
I personally know 3 black business people who've had their shyt destroyed in the last 24 hours, and these places were no where near any protest, folks just running rampant while the police are occupied, and CPD decided to let them tear up their own neighborhoods all night,
Didn't even try to stop them, and honestly the fact that no one had enough sense to realize that looting and burning down the only grocery store in a food desert was a bad idea, probably deserves to have to travel to eat. If you gonna loot and burn all the places where your we get our meds and supplies knowing they prob won't rebuild, who did you actually hurt ?
This was not random or part of the protests, this was groups of young folks coordinating on social media on which spots to rob while the police were busy. Black suburbs out south had the same problem, Lansing and cal city torn up too, a lot of them stores gonna take they insurance checks and go open new locations somewhere else
