Lol don’t try and make sense of if it. They start “storylines” and then forget said storylines. It’s their version of things coming full circle. One of my biggest gripes is the depiction of black men. EVERY black man on this show is weak. I thought for sure Jake was gonna get smoked by one of the opps he or Reggie was beefing with in the first couple of seasons. This show was originally supposed to center around Brandon but since his departure was so unexpected, the writers had to push characters like Jake, Emmett, Keisha, Kevin etc to the forefront. Sucks because Brandon taking down Douda with help of the 2 detectives was shaping up to be a great storyline.
