Yall already said everything that crossed my mind while watching the latest episode. This ish is cartoonish and nothing makes sense. They let too many people write on this show cuz they always changing up timelines, people's ages, how they would likely respond to situations, etc.

Keisha and Emmett acting like 38 year olds while Darnell acting like he 60.

Everybody in Chicago already know Trig loves trehs so why they acting like it's a secret.

Q was too old in the first season to be hamming up them young nikkas in Chicago ---- he REALLY too old now, he can barely twist his body to change his direction. He walk like the Terminator.

This is what i don’t get…he had a public proposal in a crown fried chicken to a treh. Why they acting like he not loud and proud with it. Like walking aroundwith a 6’3 nikka in heels is fooling anyone.

This show suffers from the fact they never wrote multiple storylines well and then had zero idea of how to move on from Brandon and Reg while Showtime kept renewing them. It’s like one of them needs to throw in the towel.

I wholeheartedly agree. I truly believe watching it that the lack of storylines, very little character growth, 3 steps being taken forward only to take 8 steps back is because it was never suppose to be about Chicago per se. It’s what she wanted/ considered Chicago to be. The show was realistic in the first two seasons now it’s just unbearable.

I would have advised them to just have Brandon in prison off screen for season 3 while they recasted him which would have continued Brandon's arch. Have Jerrika leave him by writing him a letter in prison and that could have served as Tiffany Boone's exit from the show.

The biggest thing my wife and I hate is how they've neutered Douda's character. Dude was a cut throat untouchable menace when he was first introduced, now look at him

Lawd...they be everywhere with this shyt. They be shoehorning relationships like a mofo! Darnell hangs out with Trig and Shad? LMAO! Tiff and Keisha are besties?? LOL! And Keisha and Emitts mom are besties too! So much that she hid her sickness from her last season! Nevermind that I don't recall them ever having a scene together before, fukk context!

Darnell is in my age bracket and it's possible for him to be an EWF Stan. I know a few. In fact still to this day I will say they put on the best live show I've ever seen. But yeah...he acts like he was a teen when they dropped. We was around...but didn't understand that shyt til later in life. Realistically he could be a R&B dude but stanning Jodeci, Boyz II Men, etc. Me nor none of my dudes be walking around with bluetooth earpieces constantly either. Lena writing him like he's her uncle but she forgets she's much older than Emmitts character smh.

nikkas have/had a tape on Douda damn near killing Gemma's pops and told him leave town or else. Not only did this nikka come back in town next week, but he bullyfooted his way into a top campaign advisor of the nikka who has the tape! Instead of the nikka telling Douda to GTFOH cuz he owns him....he proceeds to agree to all the out of character fukkboy shyt Douda has him do. I aint heard a word about that tape...all cuz ya man Vic is getting some likes now smh.

I tripping off the Douda/Kandi/Tracy/Q scene. Douda fukked every chick in the room and Tracy fukked every dude. I see she like gangsta nikkas.

Lol, the unintentional funniest part was Trig using LBTGQ logic against the trans chick. Basically saying, y’all consider yourself women, so if I like women what’s the problem?


I know they have to up the ante for dramatic effect but any reasonable person would tell him just chill play the role with the straight chick until you get elected, then after that you can wild out bruh.

This season hasn’t been bad but it just feels like the story is all over the place.
