The funny thing is Kyrie going sabo after KD his that three is exactly the type of shot that inspired KD to join the warriors on the first place. @The War Report thsts a good moment to mention too, but we all had to know on that Irving shot. Also, at the announcers talking about Thompson's defense and as soon as he subbed in KD went right at him for the layup.Aside from Kyrie pissing away a possession with horrible shot selection, Lue bringing in Tristan for "defensive purposes" on that one possession was worst part of the meltdown. Tristan never been a rim protector and has provided zero value this entire series...but he was supposed to do something against that lineup
Dominance is great to watch. Unless you hate the team dominating
I'm not sure Sabo would have done something as poorly as that. The funny thing is Kyrie going sabo after KD his that three is exactly the type of shot that inspired KD to join the warriors on the first place.
Klay had been lights out all series on defense and with the season hanging in the balance he goes at him one on oneI'm not sure Sabo would have done something as poorly as that.
Again I don't blame LeBron for the Korver shot. That was great basketball play to open great shooter.
Once it was clear Kyrie was fukking around LeBron needed to run over there and set a screen or something. He needed to be involved in that play. Klay was the not the matchup for that kind of shot. Force the switch with Curry at least.
That's exactly the kind of shyt Westbrook would of done.I'm not sure Sabo would have done something as poorly as that.
Its the totality of everything. He had a 2 for 1 opportunity. To kill it just to take that shot....idk breh. If he was firing up a 3 he would have at least done it with enough time remaining. That's exactly the kind of shyt Westbrook would of done.
Is Lue good enough though? I really can't tell.
He's 78-55 as a head coach. Nothing spectacular. What's his area of expertise? Seriously asking. I don't know much about him.I dont know breh. Some of his adjustments were dope last year, but he did a shytty job this year.
Putting TT on the floor on for defensive purposes at the end of the 4th quarter was cringeworthy
Breh I knew Kyrie's mind was not in the right place when he instead of running the clock down at the end of the 1st Qrt...he decided to sprint down the court and kick it to Shump for a 3.Klay had been lights out all series on defense and with the season hanging in the balance he goes at him one on one

"You don't have to have a super team," Udonis Haslem said over the weekend at the Dew NBA 3X three-on-three event in Miami. "The problem is the majority of the league doesn't play hard. It's probably like 80 percent of the NBA that doesn't play hard and you've got like 20 percent of the NBA that does play hard.
"So, you take a super-talented team that actually plays hard and that's what you get."
Despite breakout performances by Cleveland Cavaliers stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in Wednesday's Game 3 at Quicken Loans Arena, the Warriors nonetheless moved to a 3-0 series lead in the best-of-seven series that could end as soon as Friday night.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thomson, Draymond Green and their teammates is an element that tends to be overshadowed.
"We’ve got a lot of talented teams in this league that don’t play hard," Haslem said. "So when you take a super-talented team that actually plays hard and plays the game the right way, you get a team like Golden State.
"There'll be other talented teams. The question is: Will they play hard like Golden State? Will they play together like Golden State? That's what separates them from the other teams that actually have. It’s the way they play the game, the way they approach the game."

He's from the Doc Rivers coaching tree. Which means he's a great motivator (well at least early Doc) and is usually great out of timeouts. (which is why its surprising they didn't call a timeout after the KD 3? They had one remaining right?) Blatt couldn't figure out how to help make Love effective...Lue has figured that out. But he's got other flaws as well. Its like when you hire your OC to be your HC in football. Sometimes you can get worse at what you were hired for. Thats what happened to him and his defensive scheme. He's 78-55 as a head coach. Nothing spectacular. What's his area of expertise? Seriously asking. I don't know much about him.
