Controlling pace isnt only about TOs or lack thereof but it's also about getting back on defense, even after a missed shot. How can a team ranked in the bottom 25 in defense this season possibly control the pace? And your stats are from a GS team without KD.

I'm trying really hard to find a reason to give the Cavs more than a game other than LeBron being that reason. And I just can't. Team much top heavy talent with the Dubs.

And like I said earlier in this thread, they just seem pissed off. Even Steph seems pissed. I've never seen him pissed.

Cavs were in the bottom 20 during regular season but not bottom 25. Everyone knows about their struggles, they werent good.

Playoffs have been another story. They have the 3rd best DRtg this postseason and their offense has nearly completely made up the difference w Golden State in overall off/def net rtg

:francis:

That's not how it works.

It's clear regular season cavs are different from post season cavs so what way does it work?

Lol upset by facts again

Whether that may be true or not, you can't use DRTG/ORTG and NRTG in that manner. Sample size is far too small and both teams don't play the same competition. The main reason the Cavs have the third best DRTG, isn't because they've had the third best defense (or are the third best defensive team) in the playoffs. It's because almost all the other teams' DRTGs have been affected by playing against either the Cavs or the Warriors offenses, respectively. It's the reason why teams like the Jazz are ranked 10th out of 16 in the playoffs in DRTG, but were ranked 3rd out of 30 in the regular season. It's not because their defense lost their abilities or structure, it was because it was affected by playing the Warriors offense in 4 of their 11 Playoff games.

shyt the Raptors had the second best DRTG after the first round (100.7 against the Bucks, and were one of the best defensive teams in the RS), but then had a 118 DRTG in the Cavs series.

I know how the stats work. Cavs have obviously stepped up their game on both sides of the court and that's reflected in the stats as would be expected, small sample size or not. So yes, it certainly does "work that way", you're just looking for reasons to discount facts you don't like as per usual. :manny:
@GoddamnyamanProf you don't know shyt about anything. All-time :trash: posting over and over again. How long are you going to keep this act up?

Russell Westbrook averaged a triple double for the SEASON and is still at best the 5th best player in the NBA because there is more to basketball than that.

Meanwhile LeBron was CLEARLY outplayed by KD throughout the ENTIRE series, and even by Steph and Kyrie on some nights, but because he averaged a triple double in the finals, he's still by far the best player in the world?

Alright.

Alright.

The thing I found funny with Lebron was even during his stat padding at the end of the 4th quarter it was mostly evident to the world that Lebron should have been backing down his competition to the basket from game 1...#noconsistentpostgame
