the one thing people are forgetting is trades actually keep SOME of the balance

if KD had been traded to GS, they would have had to give up something for him. and it wouldn't have been no bogut and barnes.. it'd be draymond or thompson. so the power isn't stacked with one team losing everything and the other losing nothing or little to nothing


if PG comes to the cavs, they will have to lose Love and maybe more. So they gained a PG at small forward, now they have no spot up 3 shooter or rebounder at the 4.. and because contracts in the nba have to be close in money, the cavs would only have 5-6 mil to get a replacement

If PG just went there... well now everyone just takes less and indiana now sucks and that's another team that bron doesn't have to worry about, while getting immensely better
