Shots on goal was 23-4 Edmonton at one point. That is fukking outrageous.

Vancouver led 33 seconds in the final four games.

They were in a funk post-AS break and that also coincided with Pettersson's slump too. This group has a history of going into nasty funks.

Colorado avalanche swept the Edmonton Oilers 4-0 in the 2022 WCF and then beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in the cup finals 4-2

Edmonton Oilers lost to the Golden Knights last year in the second round in 6 games. Vegas won the series 4-2. Vegas then beat both Dallas in the WCF 4-2 and Florida in the cup finals 4-1 to capture their first ever Stanley cup.
2024 western conference finals: Dallas Stars vs Edmonton Oilers

The team that lost to the last 2 cup champs in the last two playoff years, against the team that just beat the last 2 cup champs in the playoffs this year

Dallas Stars have been the most disciplined team in the NHL this season and in the playoffs , they play smart defensively and avoid taking bad and stupid penalties. They are disciplined, smart, hard working, deep on offense and strong on defense with excellent goaltending. They are a well built and balanced team. Oilers have the edge in elite offensive forwards with McDavid/Drai, but outside of these two players, the stars are better in every position, in every area and in every aspect of the game.

oilers struggled to eliminate a inconsistent and frustrating Canucks squad who had with a bad powerplay, who were playing with their best forward (Peterson) playing like shyt, without their #1 staring goalie(Demko) and without Boeser.

Dallas in 5. Oilers will win one game because of their powerful powerplay(pun intended)
The refs will take over and call everything for one game at least.
