Another loss, I’m numb, I got used to the pain anyway. Suffering, pain, misery frustration and heartache is part in the life of any Leafs fan.
As a leafs fan, I hope for the best but always expect the worst to come.
Woll played well in game 5 and game. 6. He won both games and allowed Toronto to play a game 7. But the Toronto maple leafs are cursed. Just minutes before game 7 begins, the team announces that woll is hurt and injured, and won’t play tonight. So We have to send samsonov in net. Nylander was hurt and suffered of migraines in the first three games of the series, Matthews was hurt in game 5 and 6, mcmann was hurt and didn’t play all series, woll was hurt, Marner was playing hurt because of a high ankle sprain injury. We had a lot of important players missing and injured against Boston.
This team, this franchise is permanently cursed I tell you. Bad luck and bad vibes at the wrong time.
Being this close to victory and losing is so heartbreaking. I would have preferred to see the bruins destroy the leafs in game 5 in a blowout, and win the series in 5 instead of losing to them again in 7. At least I would not have hopes, dreams and raised expectations.
