 has been one of the worst/cheapest owners in the NBA, I don't think anyone will dispute that... but since it's Charlotte no one seems to give a fukk.

One thing I can't blame him for is not giving Kemba a supermax. No disrespect to Kemba, but what are you doing if he's the best player on your team on a huge contract?

That’s not the issue. People were calling for him to trade Walker two seasons ago. Why keep him if you knew you weren’t gonna pay him? So he can be the host athlete of some pointless all star game and possibly compete for another 8th seed?

its that time of the year for knicks, wolves, and suns fans to form like voltron and take shots at us to keep the heat off their decrepit franchises :snooze:

never even had a #1 overall pick.... while teams out here picking anthony bennett, trading kristaps for julius randle, and giving john wall 50 million a year to put howard students through grad school

but okay :unimpressed: lets try to keep the narratives straight and consistent this time around at least

704. Formerly 212 and 843.
people try to be too smart sometimes....and make things more complicated than need be

sometimes the best thing to do is the simplest thing to do

they went out of their way to get frank when they could of simply taken the celtics picks and probably STILL have drafted frank :yeshrug:

The problem, in a vacuum, wasn't turning down the trade offer. The problem was turning down the trade offer to draft Frank Kaminsky. Was Frank worth 3-4 first round draft picks, no matter where the picks fell? No.

Ironically, the 16th pick that year was Terry Rozier whom the Hornets just agreed to pay $20 mil a year for the next 3 years. Kelly Oubre Jr was the 15th pick.

Boston also was offering a Nets unprotected pick in a future draft, which ended up being Jaylen Brown.

To be honest, if it was anyone else other than Michael Jordan, there would likely be widespread demand that the owner sell the team.

One black majority owner and you want him to sell the team:stopitslime:

Meanwhile these cacs runs shyt shows of organizations and you say nothing

If being bad meant selling the team

Then the knicks, wizards, twolves, suns, and plenty other teams need to sell

Came in here to post this. This is truly :mindblown:. Then add to that they are still over the cap :dead:. You should have to pay a penalty in addition to the luxury tax for being over the cap and missing the playoffs.

I think you’re on another planet if you don’t think their fanbases don’t want their owners to sell

If Jordan's been the majority owner since only 2010, he didn't even have a chance to spend. Their salary table looks like shyt for atleast three years. He needs to start dumping everything for picks.

This franchise is in the running for All-Time worst franchises in the major leagues. In 35 years of existence, they've only made the playoffs 10 times...

Never made the Eastern Conference Finals...

Have just three 50-win seasons in 35 years of play. Their last 50-win season was in.....fukking 1998.

This team has been spinning its wheels forever. First 14 years brought 7 of their playoff appearances. Last 21 years, just 3 playoff appearances...

The former owner moving the team in '02 really tanked the fan support. They came back two years later with the Bobcats moniker, but nobody in Charlotte really got behind the "Bobcats" branding. Ten long years, I will say by the time they turned back into the Hornets (2014), people in the city supported it...

It's been 11 years now since they became Hornets again. And these mf's always fukking suck! People are not as invested in the team...

CHARLOTTE BOBCATS WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT FRANCHISE U CASUAL

THE HORNETS FRANCHISE MOVED TO NEW ORLEANS & THE BOBCATS WAS A NEW EXPANSION TEAM IN CHARLOTTE

WHEN THE NEW ORLEANS HORNETS SWITCHED THEIR NAME TO THE PELICANS THEY DECIDED TO ALLOW THE BOBCATS TO TAKE ON THE HORNETS MONIKER AND LET THEM HAVE THE HISTORY TOO
