The Suns owe the Hornets a big thank you.

Ryan McDonough wanted to draft Kaminsky

That year, but had to settle for Devin Booker

Once the Hornets snatched him up:mjgrin:
well now they got kaminsky and if booker isn't out running up in hotel rooms again he might make time to demand a trade :unimpressed:

at least the hornets didn't settle for marquis chriss and dragan bender - back to back trash. to fit right next to jackson and len

but i guess having all those top 5 picks isn't as easy as it looks

Every bum ass franchise is bad at drafting

Some teams get rewarded with #1 pick so they could finally draft someone good. Hornets are yet to win one since Larry Johnson days.

These dudes drafting bums like kaminsky...they have scouts like any other team, they do their job, but then Mike or whoever bum ass GM he has makes the final choice how they feel.

If the team keeps sucking that badly they will get that #1 pick reward from NBA

if MJ was only good at bball, then he wouldn't be the owner of an NBA team in the first place :mjtf:
Always been a huge argument to be made that Jordan should actually have more money based on his status and what he actually generated for Nike and others. Breh may be right. :yeshrug:

Jordan's also too cheap to go near the luxury tax. That's not the type of person I would want owning my franchise.

 has been one of the worst/cheapest owners in the NBA, I don't think anyone will dispute that... but since it's Charlotte no one seems to give a fukk.

One thing I can't blame him for is not giving Kemba a supermax. No disrespect to Kemba, but what are you doing if he's the best player on your team on a huge contract?

That's not on them, their hand was forced.

Also:

- The Hornets are historically underachievers because hardly anybody ever stays there.
Their rosters are usually made up of serviceable veterans who were traded there to die.

- Their all-time leader in FGs made is a player who wasn't a starter.

- Their first owner bought the team for less money than Micheal Jordan makes a year from Nike.

- Michael Jordan is the owner, and evidence is mounting that playing basketball is perhaps the only thing he was ever good at.

damn.....

in MJs defense though....

to be as good as he was took a lot of effort and time.....

he hasnt put that same time and energy into being a good businessman.....

whoever hooked him up with nike should be on his christmas list forever though

Not even a charlotte fan but Ill never forgive them for that dumbass kaminsky pick, i still dont kno what the fukk they were thinkin

people try to be too smart sometimes....and make things more complicated than need be

sometimes the best thing to do is the simplest thing to do

they went out of their way to get frank when they could of simply taken the celtics picks and probably STILL have drafted frank :yeshrug:

Top 4
To be honest, if it was anyone else other than Michael Jordan, there would likely be widespread demand that the owner sell the team.

Jordan will make out like a bandit whenever he sells. I think he barely put up any of his own money for the team he just assumed the debt that Johnson had

Everywhere...You never there.
damn these nikkas passed on spida for malik monk? man kemba and mitchell would have been dope, i didn't know that, clifford wanted him and was a good coach. passed on pascal? :snoop: i remember that kaminsky stuff- damn i'm done. the hornets will f--k up a free lunch

I remember a lot of people clowning the Kings for trading back in the draft instead of drafting Malik Monk. How's that looking now?

On record with not being on board with that Malik Monk pick ... I thought it was pretty obvious that without a great deal of development he wouldnt be what folks think he’d be in the league ...but ... what does is matter :snoop:
