Can't really pick a winner but this is a 7 game war.
The Lakers went up 30 on the Grizzlies in game 3 and beat them by 40 in game 6. That’s the 2 seed. Lol, I don’t think y’all fully grasp how good this team actually is.
Memphis is a regular season team that isn't ready for what their record/seeding suggests. I wouldn't use that logic against a team with a dynasty core.

Right but going to 7 with a young Kings team that has 0 playoff experience is supposed to be some badge of honor.

Memphis and Sacramento can be compared though and the Lakers were more impressive than the Warriors in that sense. I think his point is valid in that the lakers are being underrated not that their performance is transferrable identically vs the warriors

Ehh I wouldn't say way worse. They just score their points differently.

Lakers have dominated the regular season matchup with the Warriors both pre and post trade
Lakers were a bottom 3rd offense in the NBA the Kings had the most potent offensive efficiency in league history this season ….Kings are a far superior offensive team ..like that shouldn’t even be a controversial take

Were they bottom 3 post trade? Cause I understand that the Kings are an elite offensive team but Lakers are a good offensive team post trade deadline

Young and athletic teams with streaky scorers and all star point guards but lacking winning credentials in the playoffs (?)
i mean if we're trying to roll with the most reductive take possible to make narrative work sure :mjlol: memphis is probably the most undisciplined team on both sides of the ball in the post-season the past two years.

They were 14th out of 30 post trade …so mediocre at best …still not touching the Kings …the Lakers win because of defense

But that offense is wayyyyyyyyyy worse
Nah I disagree. One of the biggest element of the Kings offense in the reg season revolved around the Sabonis and KHurt 2 man game, and both were absolutely fukking terrible. All time bad performances.

We’ll have to see how well the Warriors contain an actual offense without 2 throwers on the court at all time.

Point is the biggest difference between GS/LAL and MEM/SAC was experience and composure
