:mjlol: Another thread we'll be bumping consistently in no time when the Cavs go right back to sucking. Thinking yesterday's game was anything but an anomaly is quite hilarious.
This game was equivalent to last years game in Boston when y'all thought y'all had a chance then cle blew ya out. :mjlol:

I know it's tuff for y'all to digest, thot things we're gonna be different with kyrie but the fact still remains bron owns y'all nikkas, at least until Hayward is back. :yeshrug:

Nobody with any basketball knowledge had last year's Celtic team winning the East at any point. Stop making shyt up.

Acting the this year's Cavs team is comparable to last year's is also quite laughable. They went from Kyrie to George Hill at PG. They went from Kevin Love as a third option to a second. Three all stars to two. The team is immeasurably worse and they are garbage defensively to boot. They will be defeated soundly in the Playoffs by either the Celtics (with or without Hayward) or the Raptors in the 2nd round. And it's gonna be quite hilarious to watch since apparently everyone here believes a random regular season game in February (before the all star break) holds any significance.

Nah, this Cavs team is legit. Something would need to go horribly wrong for them not to be the best team in the East.

I really don't think people realize how strong these moves were.

This team is drastically different from the one we've seen all year.

I've been on record as saying they were a 2nd round exit but now I don't think any team has a shot at beating them in the East now. They're truly eliminated everything that made this team trash and still have Kevin Love coming back.

Same dudes saying “it’s one game” would’ve had the “Bron is washed LOL Cavs suck” threads ready if they walked into Boston and lost by 20. You nikkas ain’t shyt and your mothers should’ve aborted you.

I was one of the people saying Bron was washed and I'll acknowledge how reactionary it was. He clearly quit on that older team. The Cavs are now legit.

How are you saying this after only one game? In which they held you nikkas to 70 points in three quarters while they had 90.. did you actually watch the game? :gucci:

Smart move by Cavs GM. Lebron will strongly consider staying in Cleveland. Especially if they win title.

The Cavs defense has been trash all year. Nobody they brought in is a particularly great defensive player. They at best move from the worst defensive team in the league, to like the 4th or 5th worst defensive team in the league. They are not making a significant jump on that end.

:russ:You're the first person I'm gonna quote when this thread is being bumped religiously. I suspect it won't take longer than 2-3 weeks. This is the updated version of that 13 game winning streak thread. And the Kyrie/Brad Stevens thread. And the "Cavs won the Kyrie trade" bullshyt. Cavs fans have been looking foolish all year and y'all show no signs of stopping
Cavs gonna won the east regardless of their record so go ahead :yeshrug:

Lebron went to the Finals with Wade/Bosh, then Kyrie/Kevin Love with little competition in the East. The Cavs aren't going to no Finals this year. Stop it.
I think that it would be silly to bet against Lebron with a decent supporting cast vs any team in the east. I know it’s just been one game with the new pieces, but if you know basketball then you know what you saw. It’s like they wrote a grocery list and went out and got everything that they needed.

I’m not going to count Boston and Toronto out but I couldn’t bet on either against the squad I saw yesterday. Cleveland got much much better defensively and offensively.

I'm on record as absolutely loving the trade. It will be interesting to see how things go if the Cavs hit a rough patch before the playoffs though and if Lebron will have faith in the new additions. On the Zach Lowe podcast Windhurst was talking about how quick Lebron can lose faith in teammates and start freezing them out to a degree so that makes me interested in seeing if they hit any struggles. Also in the playoffs star power becomes way more important so I am curious to see who steps up on the Cavs since they don't have that second superstar. But overall I do think this makes the Cavs the favorites overall.
