Exactly, bron not going to wait 3-4 years for wiggins to pan out

If he pans out at all. There's a 50/50 chance Wiggins ends up being a bust. You know what you're gonna get with Love. You don't know what you're gonna get with Wiggins. Regardless of the potential he may seem to have. Wiggins could be the next T-Mac or the next Rodney Carney, no one knows. It's high risk, high reward when you're drafting that high.

This is also something worth noting. Looking back in the history of the NBA, other than the Bulls in the early 90's, I can't think of a championship team that didn't have at least one HOF big in their starting lineup.

How about let Wiggins and Bennett get their touches this year and a year of experience, then sign Love next year?

That way they may be able to make a push next season.

Paul Milsap, Al Jefferson, DeAndre Jordan, Kevin Love, Omer Asik, Brook Lopez, Marc Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge, Roy Hibbert, and Jeff Green are ALL unrestricted free agents (some of them have opt out years as well) next summer breh.....we need to just keep Wiggins and pick and choose out of these big men next year:yeshrug:

people forgot last time all the cavs could get was antwan fn jamison, just because lebron went home, doesnt mean top tier free agents will leave money and luury to go to bumblefudge cleveland

Can't sign Love next year. You won't have the cap space. There's just very little chance that can work given that Kevin will want max in addition to LJ and KI and teams like LA/BOS/HOU/CHI could very easily offer him the same.

If the Cavs want to stick with Wiggins they're gonna have to get rid of a combination of Waiters/TT/Bennett eventually regardless. TT is on a contract year and I doubt they wanna shell out the rumored 10 million + on him. With LeBron there having a logjam of perimeter players looking to score is redundant as him, Kyrie, and Wiggins can cover that so that makes Waiters expendable. I'd offer those 3 mentioned plus two firsts for Love asap.

Here's the issue Bron wants to keep TT and AV...so they aren't going anywhere....I don't want to get rid of Bennett.....

So that just leaves a Dion Waiters...if we are able to bring in Mike Miller and Ray Allen what do you think Waiters can bring in by himself.

And remember Kyrie and Waiters aren't the best of friends.

Would Enes Kanter be an option? Kevin Seraphin and Singleton?

Let's be real, Cavs would be just fine keeping Wiggins and trying to let him and Bennett develop out.

The temptation for having a big 3 these days is too big. Love/Irving/James is a marketing boulder. They will be the most watched team. Spacing will be great. There's going to be drama. I can't see the ownership wanting to pass that up. They should be fine either way if they can herd the talent.

Yeah, Waiters is a good player. I personally think the whole "Waiters and Kyrie can't co-exist" narrative is exaggerated. If I'm not mistaken those guys were killing it together in the 2nd half of the year before Kyrie got hurt.

I think I'm gonna expand my incredulous smiley game, some of the shyt I'm seeing lately doesn't warrant many keystrokes :lupe:
They're in a prime position to win. Why not go with recognized potential over what Wiggins could be in a few years? If they can do it without trading Wiggins, by all means do it. But if not, Love is worth trading Wiggins

They'd have to trade Wiggins, Waiters & Bennett to get the salaries to match.

guys like kevin love dont grow on trees, 26 ppg scorer who averaged nearly 5 assists, good for 12-15 boards a game, shoots the 3, pairing with lebron?

it took 4 years for tracy mcgrady to become tracy mcgrady

if im the cavs i STRIKE NOW, even if it means wiggins, i love wiggins, same neighborhood same school, and i know he will be great but ts not like kevin love is some 36 year old kevin garnett or something

Wiggins has franchise player potential. You do not trade that boy for anything

I would stick with what they got now. A lot of good, albeit very green talent on that team.
