I thought Bron was smarter then this :what:

@Malta

Bron will be asked to be the primary wing defender with no help if they make this trade.

lebron's out there thinking he can make kevin into an all nba defender down low, dudes gonna be bricking 3s and complaining to the refs for fouls while kyrie irving on the sideline making commercials when he's not injured :mjlol:

With James Jones and Mike Miller off the bench as his subs :russ: The Cavs would have terrible interior defense, and pretty shytty perimeter defense, but hey, they'd be able to score!

Bron would make a terrible GM, dude wanted the Cavs to trade for Jason Kidd at one point, like he and Kidd could ever play together :dead:

You think we can throw Tristan in there instead of Bennett and still keep rock?
Cavs need Tristan to play some Center when they go small. With Love on the team, Tristan has great value.

Bennett will be a solid player but he's not worth not giving up in this deal.

If you don't get Dieng back, it's a wrap before it even started breh :mjpls:
You're talking like the option to add a rim protector doesn't exist and as if keeping Wiggins solves their problem in that regard.

I'm hella conflicted on the trade and I have no idea how it can be so polarising. I mean how are people on both sides so sure that they're right on this? There's huge potential for greatness and awkward pitfalls with both options.

What is the option to add a rim protector?

If they trade the Haywood contract a long with Wiggins + whatever else, how do they get this rim protector if it's not Dieng?

They will have 90% of their cap tied up in 3 players, the option still exists with Wiggins because they keep all their assets together.

If they don't get back Dieng, they are fukked moving forward.

I'm not talking elite here, just someone that can come off the bench and hold it together when needed and in that regard you can take your pick. We can't act as if we didn't just see Miami didn't buck received wisdom and win 2 in 4 without a solid one.

Miami won titles when Wade/Bron/Bosh were defensively elite, Kyrie/Bron/Love will not be a great defensive trio.

Miami couldn't even find an average starting level center, being over the cap like that limits options, especially with bigs because they get paid premium.
