Thats was with a coach who emphasized defense. I was listening to NBA radio a few days ago and they were talking about how Blatt is this offensive innovator. Apparently he doesn't put too much thought into defense. Doesn't help when you have two guys who are known to be defensive liabilities.

Jerry Stackhouse was saying how the reason Love is such a great rebounder is becuz he doesn't rotate well on defense so it causes him to miss assignments.

On paper, the Bulls are the best team in basketball.

Blatt emphasizes both sides of the ball. Not just offense. Do some more in depth research on his coaching philosophy and style.

Bulls will have a really difficult time time creating offense outside of Rose. They will also have to stop 3 legit #1 scoring options with floor spacing and shooters.

Cavs also have 3 players that can take you off the dribble that can create or finish at the rim and collapse the defense.

Statistically lebron did his part but realistically he didn't. He creates the ultimate mismatch when he puts smaller defenders in the post and use his passing and playmaking ability from there. He did that in game 2, the only game they won and the only game they didn't get blown out. Lebron bails defenses out by playing on the perimeter a lot of times and makes it harder for his team. It always seem like when lebron really has something to prove in a meaningful playoff game he starts to work from the post. Don't know why he chose not 2 in this finals
Hard is be a playmaker when your starting point guard shoots 13% and ur starting shooting guard cant shoot at all...

Watch this pathetic shyt from wade

Am I going to believe you or Jerry Stackhouse? :patrice:

And stopping offense has never been a problem for the Bulls. It's like you said they can't score.

They will be average/above average defensively.

Not really bad.

I'm just going off history. Kyrie is not a good defender and Love is bad as well. PG and PF are two of the best positions is the game right now and you have two guys that cant defend that position.

My brother's keeper
Wade and chalmers are the main culprits in their beatdown.

He was good in the playoffs but against the spurs he looked old and lazy.

Chalmers been trash but wade jogging to get back on D when nikkas like Danny green and patty mills is full sprinting into a corner. Most of the threes the heat let up was on wades man to guard.

And that's just on defense. Dont even get me started on offense.

Lebron did his part. He isn't dropping 40+ every game against the spurs. He did his part to keep the heat in the game. Nobody else stepped up. Lebron goes out game 1 and heat score 9 points in like 9 minutes smh it was pathetic
Lebron's man won Finals MVP though. Wade had the worst Finals, nobody had a good one

Cavs were ranked 16th last year in defense and they literally got 10x better this offseason (assuming they get marion).

They will either be average or above average this year.

Again, that was with a coach that emphasized defense. From what I've heard about Blatt, he's offense.

I THINK they'll be decent or bad.

The Cavs are going to get 100 plus points a night on average even against elite defense teams. Can Chicago say the same?

What's point if they're giving up 101? There will be about 5 teams better than them due to depth alone.

They aren't going to give up 101 a night. :childplease:

They could lay down on the floor on defense and Chicago would still struggle to get over 85 points.

Mad about? It's a shytty trade. Trading Kevin Love for nothing is acceptable but Chris Paul for Scola, Dragic and Odom was just horrible. Dragic is probably better than Paul right now.

The league owned the team and NO's best player was involved. You can't change the direction of a franchise when the other owners have a stake in the team.

Did you forget about Lebron? And the Cavs have depth....and 8 or 9 man rotation is all that's used in the playoffs. After the starters, Miller, Marion & Thompson will log heavy minutes.
