After Studdard's boss decided to axe the feature, Studdard pitched the character (and a potential animated series) to a member of Nintendo's marketing department, who liked the idea — but, Studdard claims, didn't want to pay him for it. Studdard continued to answer Nintendo Power fan mail under the guise of Captain Nintendo and eventually adopted the nickname himself, but he didn't have anything to do with the resulting cartoon. Judging by his written account, Studdard is still pretty bitter about the whole thing.

Never knew X Men had a pilot episode for a cartoon series back in the 80's.

It took them another decade until they blew up.....crazy.

Whoever did Logan's voice in the 90's cartoon gave him the PERFECT voice for hosting character. Any other voice for Wolverine sounds goofy, imo.

Simon Belmont was a metrosexual lame.
Kid Icarus was a piss-weak coward.
Mega Man was.... that....

Eggplant Wizard was a p*ssy.
Mother Brain was a caricature of an angry black woman.

Show had potential but it was kinda wack in retrospect.

Didn't the spirit of Donkey Kong get trapped in a Gameboy and chased that kid around a jungle for like a whole episode???


I think I fukked with that shyt for like 2 episodes before I went back to stanning TMNT and Swat Kats.
