-family and friends underestimating them
-women bypassing them
-formative years in the books, and skipping most get-togethers, parties, and trips altogether.

-waits until 20 something, or late as 30 something, until they get financial success

Look at the incentive that the young black mae gets for being a degenerate street thug:

Now you see why young black men feel insulted and lonely for years on end when they pursue a path of legal and intellectual growth.
