Looks like the hedge funds win with the alley oop from Robinhood

President Biden failed protecting its citizens financially here letting brokerages bully their retail customers, literally changing rules while the little guy was winning.

You don't get it the hedge funds and brokerages ARE the real citizens their money is equal to free speech...:mjpls: just ask janet yellin treasury secretary why citadel paid her $810,000!!!:martin: the fix is in...

Now this is what concerns me..

Nobody should be on suicide watch..
when your put money on the roulette table on red .. and it hits black
And the dealer scoops your money off the board..

You should be like.. oh well. Throw in another $10
:yeshrug: I'm gonna play black next or red again

It's a casino..

Stop gambling and put your money in a CD if you want to protect it from loss

I understand what you’re saying and this is logical thinking, but in a way this was kind of presented as a quick come up for those who’ve never traded. This thread being stickied at the top to focus on GME, AMC, and Nakd at their height probably did way more harm than good for someone getting their feet wet. In fact reading the comments from Thursday- Monday I know it did.

I don't fully agree..

The hedge funds lost billions.. but people knew they bottom was gonna drop out.. I've been saying

If you bought this at $4 and saw it run up 800% why are you waiting.. get your money

If you bought in at the high then.. lo siento mucho

You may have lost some lunch money(hopefully) I'm seeing some dudes are down over 10k

Well that must mean they had 20k to burn.. cause..smh
Yea but the losses arent natural. Its from the brokerages not playing fair.

100% agreed there's no dopamine response to putting your money in a CD vs buying volatile stocks and watching Robinhood every 5 minutes. It's unfortunate but I wouldn't be surprised if suicides go up with week due to this GME to the moon Reddit had casual folks believing they were sticking it to rich people AND potentially getting rich themselves at the same time. DeepfukkingValue showing his 53K to 2,12,33,47+ mill every other day I'm sure also led to an increase in casuals dumping money they probably should be responsible with into GME and similar stocks. I only put in what I could afford to lose without getting mad. $350 ain't shyt in the grand scheme but I know folks probably dumped some savings into this shyt :picard:

Yea but the house should win from fukked up odds.

this would be like playing roulette and you bet on black, the ball lands on black and the dealer picks the ball up and says we aint paying you shyt, matter of fact you cant even play anymore

yep...I don’t think ppl even looked at charts just to get a basic outlook of things...shyt was slightly lower than it is now before COVID

On the flip side, Regal DID fold (right after Covid hit) and they're done for. So it's only AMC left to hold it down. :yeshrug: At least that's what I'm tellin myself. Luckily I'm not in deep with what I bought.
