I hear you but it's the dedication of what happened today. It's the waiting in line 7 hours, it's the breaking the Under Armour store windows because they waited in line for hours and didn't get to see him. It's the grown men chasing his car for half a mile and shyt. This isn't normal bruh, who breaking windows in the middle of the day in NYC because they didn't get to see Iman Shumpert? Who chasing James Harden's whip half a mile to get a glimpse of him?
The ones who broke the UA window: Asians. You wanna have a bunch of Asians congregate in a spot that isn't Chinatown or Flushing, just tell them an NBA player will be there. It's quite creepy and sometimes I'll see the same ones (really creepy). Don't underestimate the thirst level people have around here for basketball players
It's New York City bruh. We're kinda used to seeing scenes like that. I've covered them before (not this one obviously). I'm not as star struck as others are, but scenes like this happen. The rabidness of the fans is impressive, but he's also gotten a massive push too. The flagship NBA store here? KD, LeBron, Kobe, Rose, Kyrie, Curry dominate the store. UA? Their poster child. He does have a presence here.
