This was incredibly stupid to do when you look at the risk/reward and 2nd level consequences especially if they told him to fall back. If they fire him so be it but if they only suspend him then he should go sit on his back pocket and do better.

If he takes that suspension Brad Stevens should be the interim coach. I can’t see any other situation where the Celtics aren’t being set to punt this season and the transition is smooth enough they can come in as the contenders they are suppose to be.

Stevens needs to pull a Riley, he can then give it back and go back to the FO in 23-24.
