My uneducated guess is that the husband who's wife he was smashing is somehow friends or related to Celtics front office and thats why they are acting like he killed somebody without saying exactly what happened. And he seems a little assholish/standoffish so he probably reacted in a way that made them uncomfortable when he was confronted. He definitely hurt an important white person's feelings....
