Lmao. He’s not returning breh. Suspension was a placeholder for both sides to go their separate ways. Firing him right away with so much money left on his deal would create a war between lawyers. Ime will never coach another game on the Celtics bench. That suspension just gives both sides more time to negotiate.

I do think he could be guilty of sexual harassment: the alleged “unwanted” comments, the length of the suspension and cats like Barnes coming out saying it’s ‘100x uglier than we all thought” would indicate as such. The problem here is since he did have a consensual relationship with this woman, the lines are more blurred compared to if they didn't have anything consensual, at any point. Especially if this comes down to a he said, she said sort of thing.

And if that happens to be the case, it doesn't have to be about them protecting him, it can be about them protecting themselves.

Again, until we know what actually happened there's really no point trying to reach for comparable situations, or trying to give him the benefit of the doubt to where he only did the bare minimum (both of which you're doing in this thread).

The waters of what is sexual harassment are murky when you've already had a consensual relationship with someone. It's not as easy to rule on if there's no relationship there to start with. It doesn't even have to be a predatory type of thing, it can be as simple as she lost interest in him, but he still wanted to fukk, and then that turned the dynamic from being one where they were both on the same page to where she got uncomfortable that they couldn't co-exist in the same workplace anymore.

He got suspended for a "volume of violations".

We are none the wiser as to what those violations are specifically, they could include sexual harassment, or they could not (if they don't have any concrete evidence on that being so, again, it could be a he say she said thing and they can't come out directly and say it was, especially how it would forever tarnish his image). I think we can fairly conclude there's a lot more to this than them just sleeping together.
