Here is what I think happened.
He was having an affair on the low with the VP wife as indicated. While at work he make some inappropriate type of sexual joke or comment towards her that some Karen overhears. Maybe the Karen even reports it to HR. This bubbles up to the VP and once he finds out his wife claims Ime been sexually harrassing her( Or worse) to save face. Obviously he gonna trip out over this so in comes the law firm for the investigation. Only during the investigation Ime produces reciepts and they find out he wasnt harrassing her but rather they were having an affair and she lied cause she didnt want her husband finding out. Now VP is embarrassed , Ime knows he was in the wrong and here we are.

sounds about right to me. Even said that certain people knew and thought it was consensual.

If it was HARASSMENT he would have been fired..
The suspension would only be long enough to complete an investigation..
And if there was accusations of it.. they wouldn't even think of "maybe" bringing him back.. it's more to this..
Most affairs start in the workplace. Work husbands, work wives. I've worked at places where married women would go out to lunch every day with a male coworker. I work in a hospital now, and doctors smashing nurses, porters smashing clerks etc. is common

A suspension in this type of situation is pre-emptive, breh. They're figuring out the next steps but removing him from the job functions for the time being.

What does he mean by held accountable? If they brought in a law firm to conduct a two month investigation it goes beyond just firing him for having a consensual relationship. So if it's beyond that then why exactly would they "hold accountable" the woman? On top of that we know how crazy some sports fans are so why open the door for some nutcase to harrass the woman who made the accusation for taking away their coach? nikkas is dumb.
