Yeah I rewatched it a couple of times. SAS didn’t say that she needed to be named. He’s basically saying if he did more than what the Celtics organization leaked to Sham then why hasn’t he been terminated (which has been asked a few times in this thread)


I think SAS is just pointing out how it’s unfair for Umeh to get his name sullied which may prevent him from immediately getting another job. However that is a slippery hill to stand on when considering that he may have done some egregious shyt.

From an organization perspective, the Celtics fumbled this. Even if they didn’t say a word about what he did, because of who he was dating, it was going to come out regardless. But the way they went about it was sloppy. They should’ve just waiting to make one final decision and make it. Suspending him for a year won’t resolve it. As soon as he comes back, it will be a distraction.

So then it comes down to what is he being accused of, that he’s being suspended for a year, but he’s not fired. Obviously it wasn’t bad enough to void his contract. They are hiding shyt at this point. Either speak on it all or nothing at all. If the media wants to speculate, “no comment” , for the sake of privacy we will not disclose non basketball related activities. How hard is that?
