My Pops Forever RIP
Now it's being reported they fell out and "unwarranted advances"
That's why companies don't even want it to get that far, because all it takes is one co-worker to say the Celtics fostered a work environment conducive to this.

Do y'all just like creating fairy tales in your heads. It could be a million things. If she's married she could feel guilty and want to stop cheating. Or she could've met somebody and wanted to end things and he didn't want her to stop. It could be what you said.

Plus it being consensual at one time doesn't make it consensual forever. That's how dudes stay getting in trouble. Chasing after a woman they used to fukk with thinking that woman is theirs forever.

At this point best to just let shyt play out and find out the rest of the story.
What we've seen so far this year is that the venue factors in so much.

But he's too much of a distraction right now. He hops on another team then instantly the media is drills and attacks the new team that he's on. Now the GM, head coach, players, etc. will get questions about dude and what happened in Boston.. And if he has that Derek Fisher gene will he repeat the process in his new city with women that work in the organization? He's a winner but as or right now he's a firecracker with a storm swirling over him. No team is touching him right now

I hear you guys but Pop is the only coach in the league that has the clout and personality to make a decision like that and not give a fukk about the noise or backlash. And he happens to be Ime's mentor.

Pop would destroy and rip the media if they tried to play any games on Ime's name.

I mean all this is hypothetical because dude is under contract and suspended, but the best situation for Ime right now would be if he was free and went back to Pop.

The Voiceless Realm
Exactly.

Brett Favre’s thread on the front page has 175 posts in 10 days, this thread has over 1600 posts in 36 hours. Yet folks are asking why is this a bigger story. Cause clearly people are more interested in this. The head coach of the team that’s the betting favorite to win the title is suspended, the team is one of the biggest in sports and on top of that he was engaged to a famous celebrity so people who don’t even care about sports are invested. It’s the perfect storm for attention.

And for the record before anyone tries it, I think Brett Favre and the others that were in on their scheme need to be forced to pay that money back and go to prison.
Not to mention the fact that people are intentionally playing revionist history and pretending like ESPN and the media didn't give major coverage to that Brett Favre/Jen Sturgis situation while he was still in the league, so it's not like people can say that they are trying dude with kid gloves.

I saw that bs happen so many times where suddenly it becomes harassment or sexual assault accusations

Yep and the likelihood of a BLACK MAN then surviving the harassment allegation/accusation is virtually ZERO.

A Gloria Aldred appearance over this is IMMINENT.

The majority of The Coli doesn't even care about the Brett Favre story like that or the threads posted would have gained more traction (just like this one) :mjlol:

This thread got like 2K+ posts in just over a day, that one has like a 100 in 2 weeks and they wondering why ESPN is pushing this story :dead:

Celtics suspend Ime Udoka for 2022-23 season; coach’s future with Boston in question

The Celtics have suspended coach Ime Udoka for the entirety of the 2022-23 season for violations of team policies, the franchise announced Thursday. The team added in a statement that “a decision about his future with the Celtics beyond this season will be made at a later date.”

The second-year coach’s punishment is a result of an intimate relationship with a female member of the organization, as The Athletic first reported Thursday morning.

Some members of the Celtics organization first became aware of the relationship in July, sources said. At that time, team leadership was led to believe by both parties that the relationship was consensual. But sources said that the woman recently accused Udoka of making unwanted comments toward her — leading the team to launch a set of internal interviews.

The team’s decision and announcement came after a closed-door meeting Thursday that involved team owners and president Brad Stevens and lasted several hours, sources said. Earlier Thursday, Stevens and members of the Celtics front office met with players at the team facility.

“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” Udoka said in a statement Thursday night. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.”

Udoka, 45, was heading into his second season at the helm in Boston after taking over in June 2021 for Stevens, who became president of basketball operations. The Celtics went 51-31 in the regular season last year and made it to the NBA Finals, where they lost in six games to the Golden State Warriors. Udoka was previously an assistant coach with the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.

Prior to coaching, he had a professional playing career that included time in the NBA and overseas.

Joe Mazzulla has been named interim head coach during Udoka’s suspension. Udoka’s top assistant last season, Will Hardy, left the organization in July to become head coach of the Utah Jazz. Ben Sullivan and Damon Stoudamire were the other front bench assistants last year, but the Celtics have decided to go with Mazzulla over them.

Mazzulla, 34, has been a rising name in coaching ranks for some time, the only full assistant on Stevens’ staff who stayed on for Udoka’s regime (player development coach Tony Dobbins was also promoted to assistant.) Mazzulla was a surprise finalist for the Jazz job, a rare feat for someone who isn’t even a front bench assistant. He is well-respected for his game-planning on both sides of the ball and has the kind of understated but steady demeanor that has defined Stevens’ and Udoka’s tenures.

The Celtics open training camp on Sept. 27, with the majority of their NBA Finals team back for another run at the title. They open the season Oct. 18 with a home game against the 76ers.

MJ never spoke of Doug the same way those warriors players spoke on Mark. Bad comparsion. Mark was fired becsuse of his takes on homosexuality. Doug was fired for performance reasons. Stop conflating the 2
Mark is a good coach, but the warriors would never win a chip under him

their offense pretty damn average.

Steph was a ball dominant guard under him, and didnt utilize his shooting as much. he was a more typical PG than an off-ball shooter like he is under Kerr
Klay and Harrison Barnes were mostly post up players. Klay wasnt off-ball under Jackson, he was used to exploit mismatches against smaller guards

Jackson's offense was extremely unimaginative and with a healthy Klay and Steph, they were slightly under league average with Mark Jackson

If Mark Jackson was still coaching, the warriors would be the Damian Lillard Blazers: a team that's constantly on the treadmill, not truly contending for a chip

..................which would lead to performance issues.......which would lead to him getting fired. so it's essentially the same deal

People who act like the Warriors would've won the chip regardless of Steve Kerr or Mark Jackson coaching have no idea what Mark Jackson's offense was like
