Wait this the same guy who fought Shinsuke? I still gotta watch that match/event. Thought he wore a mask. Did he lose the mask in the match vs Shinsuke or was it not as important as other masked wrestlers treat theirs?
Keiji Muto is the wrestler. Great Muta is one of his gimmicks, along with Kokushi Muso (last used in 2009), Super Black Ninja (last used in 1989), and White Ninja (last used in 1986). Think like Mick Foley also being Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack.

Kota got injured I forgot at what event vs Okada. Think it was 2021 G1 final. After that her had some incident with the company executives and I think was released or quit. Haven't heard anything about him lately.
YEah Ibushi is a free agent. Sounds like he is wanting to start his own wrestling company.

It was better pre-covid due to the fact that it was when a lot of the american IWC started to put eyes on the product thanks to that Omega/Okada rivalry, Bullet Club, Nakamura, Tanahashi, and other factors. COVID pretty much killed off most of New Japan's momentum but this Wrestle Kingdom event should be the beginning to getting back to that previous point
AEW getting NJPW more exposure with Forbidden Door PPV and other random appearances should help as well.

Will looks mentally gone:huhldup:
You know Ospreay got to be pissed about losing this match. He's a free agent in 2024. Think he is going to be prime to be signed away by AEW. I think WWE would be a distant third unless he gets a sweetheart deal that allows him to have few enough dates where he doesn't have to live in America, or WWE throws him a big enough bag where it makes it worth it to him.

Honestly I think he should make the leap to WWE :manny:

He’s now a legitimate heavyweight, solid to good on the mic and can wrestle. I’m sure Triple H would have him at minimum be in that GUNTHER spot

He’s done everything there is to be done in NJPW and going to AEW isn’t going to raise his stock anymore
