It didn't help that the end result was obvious and it wasn't as good as some of their past matches....NJ needs to revamp their main event scene something serious...Its a shame that Omega/Ospreay had to destroy the main event like that. Okada/Switchblade could bring out swords and not a single shyt was given because of how good that Omega match was.
Switchblade did not deserve such treatment
I feel like the last two years they tried to put Ospreay, Ibushi, Shingo and Evil in the title main events but somehow we're back with Okada running with the title again
The one thing that kinda stood out to me on this card was that there really wasn't any stable wars poppin' off. No real battle between the groups like the old daysOverall, the event could have been better. I mean NJPW is celebration 50 years in the game and focusing on giving honor to Inoki, but the entire event felt like some shyt you would see from Power Struggle. It wasn't bad by any means, but just missing something. It just felt flat in some instances compared to the other Wrestle Kingdom events, including the shytty battle royales.

I legit don't think any match bothered me moreso than the Kairi/Tam match....shyt was getting good and just abruptly ended for a wack debut....Overall, the event could have been better. . Same goes for Will Ospreay. Dude could wrestle laps into the future, but still will be mid in the eyes of the crowd because of Omega and em. There's an aura to wrestlers like Rainmaker and Tanahashi that is lacking with wrestlers like Jay and em. Its not a bad thing by any means, but sometimes you got to just let Gedo cook despite how shytty his booking is.
