Really does show where the board was at the time. I mean, I don't see a thread about Kanye vs. 50 or even Graduation on the first page. Was the Cam'ron "Curtis" diss out? T.I. was about to drop T.I. vs T.I.P. That isn't a good album, but the anticipation was HUGE. Common was about to drop Finding Forever and songs were leaking leading up to release and nothing on that either. I'm not sure if those Game leaks had dropped yet.

I mean there was A LOT of new music dropping, but you got posters on the Internet asking for links to a 10 year old Wu album. Discussion on what started the Jay/Mobb beef.

I'm starting to see why posters here have such a low opinion of Hip Hop beyond 2003. Most posters are still stuck in 1993-2003. I mean, Hip Hop Is Dead was 6 months old at that point. Instead of discussing that album, people were busy talking about the worst song on Illmatic, which was over 13 years old at that point. Wasn't even an anniversary thread.

Nope, I was on B-Boys.com and D12 World back in 2000-2002, then Rap Music.com in 2003. Once MySpace and Facebook came out I was done with talking to dudes about hip hop and started talking to fine ass bytches.

I know, but there were singles out. Kanye had a mixtape dropping too around that time. I know "Can't Tell Me Nothin" had dropped and "Stronger" if I'm not mistaken.
