Its almost time this shyt gonna be epic levels of fukkery
I noticed bobby brown doesn't get his just due from people who missed out on his career.
for the youngns that don't know, you gotta combine chris brown AND usher together to be on par with bobby brown.
people always talk about the Michael Jackson influence, but they never mention that these cats were just as influenced by bobby brown.
people talk about their childhood memories of mike, now since he been gone. but if you were a coming up in the '80s-early '90s, you rocked with bobby just as hard. and the cool kids were more into bobby. that's gonna hurt some people's egos, but real talk.
I wholeheartedly agree with this statement and I always tell cats this. If you weren't there you fully wouldn't get the impact Bobby had. He falls in the category where his later years (plus marriage to Whitney) overshadowed his prime years. Had he stayed on course who knows the levels he'd be in this day. People fail to forget next to Michael, Prince, Janet Bobby was that dude from 88-90. I feel him and LL dont get there just due and honestly wont until there no longer with us anymore. But damnit Bob gon always be that dude in my eyes (despite all the mistakes). And folks need to stop sleeping on that Bobby album that joints had smokers and was able to do double. It's just at the time the tide had start to change within the R&B industry. It's funny u mentioned Usher and Chris cause when Usher 1st came in he was under Bobby before Puff and LA got him also while most try to make Chris to be the next MJ I always felt he was poised to be this generations B Brown in jus how B Brown had the style the dance moves and stage show that'll blow ya mind be oddly snuff chris life paralled Bob's in all the wrong ways
