I never heard this - what's the full story?
It was recently discovered that Ralph Tresvant secretly sang some of the lead parts on Bobby Brown's hit song "Every Little Step," according to Brown's then-manager, Steven Machat. Apparently Brown was so high that Tresvant, being a good friend, stepped in to finish what ended up being one of Bobby's biggest hits off his 1988 album Don't Be Cruel, which sold seven million copies.

Ralph Tresvant Sang "Every Little Step" Because Bobby Brown Was Too High

Theres a whitney 'Whitney :Can I Be Me "documentary on Cafehulu (or whatever streaming service you can find).

It gives her side of the story and it's such a sad story when you put it all together that they were toxic for each other.
Nah, they were both just toxic period. It intensified when they got together of course.

Yeah, if you haven't seen "Can I Be Me", i recommend it.

Theres a whitney 'Whitney :Can I Be Me "documentary on Cafehulu (or whatever streaming service you can find).

It gives her side of the story and it's such a sad story when you put it all together that they were toxic for each other.

They were like two kids that found someone to enjoy their hobbies with, they both liked getting high (bobby through drinking and whitney through drug) so they had the most fun with each other cause they were exactly who they were looking for in a spouse.. the doc made it seem like whitney was all about her friend before bobby showed up.

they may have been toxic in hindsight but they would have never been satisfied, with anyone else. they loved the partying and all that, to me for whitney he was her escape from the pressure and to

Nah, they were both just toxic period. It intensified when they got together of course.

so I watched the doc and what I took from that and the movie was they were good with each other until they got clean or wanted to get clean. Its as if they didn't like each other sober, the movie made it seem like she wasn't supporting him after he said he wanted to get off drugs. and the documentary made it seem like she was just going with the flow until she decided to get clean then realized all the fukk shyt he did and the pressure from her parents and everyone around her made her feel like he was a bad influence on her. The one bs thing she said was she only did drugs around him and I think that's a lie cause she was using before and after him. she made him the scapegoat and he never said anything bad about her publicly, it also made sense for him to find a wife that was sober to fit his new look on life.

either way they lived fast and Bobby is lucky to still be alive after all that shyt

Bob still left though, the father is the most important person in a girls life, especially early.

The movie made it seem like she left him and he had no choice but to move on. Or maybe that’s just his perspective

His wife gives me those Tomica Wright vibes

THIS

this is basically what bobby's sister is running around saying.

the same sister that warned everybody about Pat Houston and tried to save bobbi Kristina's life before it all went downhill.

In the MOVIE it was....but not in real life. In real life, Rich owed money to some cats (either Cubans or Dominicans....can't remember) and didn't pay, so they kidnapped and killed his little brother (they DID actually send his finger to him, though).

My wife's family has an extremely close connection to that story....that's how I know.

you should be banned for this.

Bobby probably could've gotten 6 million for Thug Lovin' if he would've asked being that 6 million probably won't shyt to Irv at the time
But being that some time had passed since Bobby was the man and at that point he was no longer at the peak of his career, I get why he only asked for 1 million

:dwillhuh: you wildin. Irv had money but he ain’t got $6M liquid to just give out
