WHITNEY HOUSTON PAID OFF DRUG GANGSTERS TO SAVE BOBBY BROWN
Posted: 09:21 PM ET
By Mike Parker
TROUBLED diva Whitney Houston secretly paid a $400,000 ransom demand to kidnappers who threatened to kill her ex-husband Bobby Brown, a bombshell new book claims.

Brown was snatched and held “naked and hog tied” at gunpoint by members of a notorious New York street gang known as the Preacher Crew, according to author David Collins.

He was later allowed to make one phone call to Whitney, in which he pleaded with her to personally deliver the ransom to an abandoned building in the Bronx.

Disguised in a wig and dark glasses, the terrified singer obeyed, and handed over a duffle bag containing the cash 24 hours later to 6ft 7in gang boss Clarence “Preacher” Heatley, says Collins.

He claims the kidnapping, which was never reported to police, happened in April 1993 when Whitney was at the peak of her fame with her film The Bodyguard and its soundtrack album, both huge hits. Unlike the movie, however, in which Kevin Costner co-starred as her heroic minder, Whitney was forced to face her then husband’s kidnappers alone to hand over the ransom before they were both allowed to walk away free.

Who was the person who comes up to Bobby in the scene where Bobby and Whitney are on their very first "this better be a date"?

His character seemed to be an artist as well.

the ghostwriter(smooth b??) was sitting at the table, writing the lyrics breh.

The writer was Stylz... that's actually him playing as himself in the movie too.

He was gonna come out on Brown's label, but that situation never really got off the ground. Brown said in his book that he had a whole album done, but Bob's lack of focus and issues with the label prevented all the B. Brown Posse artists' music from comin' out.

So that's why his brother-in-law got merked because he was wasn't paying for his drugs?

nah. bobby had nothing to do with that.

from what I gathered, his brother-in-law was a live street dude and he was the target. not bobby.

is that the same bul that had a verse in "humpin around"??

What a story, low key makes me want to watch the Bobby Kristina story cause I want more :damn:

Also anyone notice that after a certain part the actor who played Bobby Brown had a fukked up jaw from all that drugging. I peeped that little nuance they put in there :mjlol:

True but he brought some of that shyt on his self the way he was drugging so hard and moving reckless sadly, but when you get success young it can be chaos if you don't have people around you guiding you right and you don't listen to them if you do have them around.

especially since Mekhi Phifer was all in the movie. they should've put that in there for money makin mitch.

no disrespect to BET. they did a great job, especially with sneaking this R-rated movie on TV with a lower rating. but bobby's biopic should've been in theaters.

bobby got man-napped under orders from the same dude that got rich porter's lil brother kidnapped & murdered.

bobby owed them money & tried to burn them. whitney came and paid the ransom.

Wait so it wasn’t Rich’s Uncle that got his little brother killed?
