This movie badly needed a narrator's voice to help plug the gaps of time jumps and what the fukk is going on. This shyt can get confusing as hell knowing time ranges and where everything is occurring. I'm so mad they jumped over the dissolving of his marriage or how Whitney apparently tried to get clean and how that drove Bobby away.

If they were going to jump times and years, they should have put the actual year next to the bottom headline instead of the audience having to guess based on the music played. Luckily I know both the Bobby & New Edition timeline pretty well so I've been able to know each year from each time jump.
