But I never hated it....i'd definitely put it above a few of his weaker albums.

Hovi Baby is lowkey one of Hov's best songs....wild Just Blaze beat and Jay killed that shyt. There's a handful of great tracks, some trash then some of the most awkward music ever made. That pathetic ass get the last word in Nas diss on the title track .....the Biggie talked to me from the dead to tell me how great I am intro that Me and My Girlfriend garbage

Whole album is a mess musically....I remember the initial hype of the album was that they were gonna use rock samples like they used soul samples on The Blueprint, which sounded intriquing but it wasn't even really a factor on the album ouside of Guns and Roses.

That A Dream intro could've been an interesting concept, but it was just Hov sucking himself off through biggie

Wasn’t cam president of the ROC at that time. Cam was cutting jay verse off the oh boy remix and was probably giving jay a release date.

Jay came off vacation and it was Cams house at rocafella records. Cam probably had baseline studios pinked out. Jay was a fish outta water in 2002.

This album was meh...that's why he quickly released BP2.1

They pushed Freeway's album back for this album & Freezer's album was better

I remember Dame being on Rap City saying every week an album from Rocafella was dropping in October and if it didn't his name aint Dame Dash

Does anyone remember or have the BP2 promo commercials. Jay was rapping some verses from songs from the album accapella.

I remember there being commercials for Hovi Baby, A Dream and The Watcher. I remember for the Watcher he was doing hand signs and had a retarded look doing it similiar to when he said the rappers being bangers line.
