Damn...sometime I think white collar brothers have it harder than labor class blacks...I see this at work too. I've had black women go hard on me but when uncle Sam shows up they're c00nin. They change the way they speak. Its wild. Black men do it too. I feel bad for black people who think they have to compromise their blackness because they're in a white space. I'm unapologetically black in white spaces.
I used to not use AAVE or have long hair because I thought it'd hurt my chances of moving up the ladder. Lmao, if you're black you've got two strikes against you in all professional white spaces. You might as well be yourself. If you're an Anglophile that's cool. Just don't forget you're black.
Corporate culture is all white male frat culture. Women, gays, and minorities are only there to make sure these crackers don't get sued. Im not excusing white women, but white men shyt on everybody in the economic, corporate, and political structures they designed in their favor.Damn...sometime I think white collar brothers have it harder than labor class blacks...

I used to be all about that life breh. Trust me, nobody goes in that machine and comes out having changed anything. Reject it or accept it. Either way it affects us everyday in various ways. I quit the corporate hustle to cook. I love it. I get to help black people be healthy for a living. I love it.
