The small Black middle class does not have the money or clout have a big impact in this county. We need to try to educate and empower other Black folks to juice our influence.
If 70% of Black adults had a bachelors degree and made 70k our reality in this country would be different.
We need to embrace education and Black economic empowerment.
By influence, status or as in overall numbers.

Shutting out a class of black people who could later help rebuild is OD ridiculous.
Going to the hood, picking a hood spot and educating the black people there would go a long way.
But if black people from one strata looking at themselves on a lower strata and afraid to engage of course the hood is a lost cause.
Only thing upper class blacks will do is isolate themselves until it's time to celebrate the "culture" and that's conditional, they only there for the fukkary.
Black people ain't have a dialogue with each other about how to fix their community in a long time.
Not enough black people willing to have that talk from all classes because they feel like they need to assimilate or else.
Until black people stop including other groups, and start talking about black people in black spaces without cameras and looking to monetize, black people will always have this problem. More organizations that will show results and fewer cheerleaders who bring attention to the work.
Talking too much, talking to the wrong people, not knowing who being talked to been the problem.
We gotta move different. It's enough black people in the hood who want to fix the hood, they don't know how.

w e b dubois said the exact same thing. there needs to be a heirarchal separation between the various classes in the black community, divisions that identify black people of value and those who are a drag on our advancement. the uneducated, less cultured element commands far too much prominence.
the lack of black intellectuals who haven’t been compromised by the dominant society is also a noticeable problem. a black media that speaks in an unfiltered tone of black empowerment would do wonders in policing the filth among us.
They literally weaponize sex and entertainment to distract and to ensure that the next generation of black intellectuals like Neil DeGrasse Tyson won't ever come forth.
People look down on anyone making a 9-5 income. I also see a lot of people legitimately hate the cars that they drive, because they desire some luxury shyt they see on social media.

Interestingly every stable country today historically went through a type of feudalistic period where competing entities had to be unified usually forcefully and violently in order to operate under one cultural hegemony. In the black communities case I don't think it necessarily has to be a violent resolution but there definitely needs to be a more cohesive standard of cultural norms. Even on just the coli often posters butt heads on certain standards of behavior.
