The black church was a huge asset and help to the civil rights struggle in this country, people were able to organize and have an idea after church and put it to purpose. I for one see a stronger black church as a good thing for black people
You are out of your mind. Churches are completely irrelevant? You must not live anywhere in the South. Tithes still tax free and contrary to what you believe, some people actually in God

A lot of people are realizing or just pivoting to not needing to go into a building and give your extremely hard earned money away to have a relationship with whatever deity they prefer.

every church has some issues as any organization with humans in it does, however I think my church for the most part represents what we are supposed to

Sure seems like it with chrches with:
- ATMs
- Applications asking about your income to make sure they get their cut
- Openly shaming people for not tithing enough
Nobody is dumping on the black church except for black ppl. Smh
And in general, we cheer for someone of our own , then when they get accused, we immediately lead the charge against them.
