I think hes pointing out the hypocrisy bud. It’s outside of the Bible and is European (pagan if u will). The truth stands alone u must accept this even if u continue to celebrate.

"One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks"

Its a sin to celebrate Christmas if you believe its against God. Not because some loud mouth pastor said so. Plus he still didnt say not to worship Jesus at all. Worshipping "Jesus" as God while berating his church members isnt something he should be doing:respect:

timestamp? i'm listening to it but I dont understand what you specifically are trying to convey?

When I say there are levels to Jesus message I'm saying that the text itself appears static but the shear number of interpretations that "could" exist will open your mind to the other ways to perceive God's Torah which to this day Jews have even admitted they cannot completely understand it

Isaiah 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

See the first interpretation is to say God must clearly be speaking from above, but what if its an infinite regression? Where God's perspective keeps going higher and lower whereas a mans ways are stuck near his periphery

Science predicts that I'm probably right because no matter how hard we zoom into whats above and whats below we keep finding fine structures

Exodus 20:22

22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

then compare that statement to:

Genesis 2:6

6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

putting those statements together show how when we seek a dialogue with God he is saying we could be like mist to him @Koichos

im getting better at it :umad:

Haven’t seen this type of hate for Christians in a while

Although I think he has come to despise God and all religions (with a particular focus on Christianity considering he’s a former pastor)

@MMS this guy is like an atheist version of you :heh:

I'm still not sure I understand what you're saying? That I'm not quoting Jesus?

Ill put it this way that will make sense. You were not born to a Jewish family or a Catholic family etc but somehow a King James Version arrived in your periphery in a language you can understand

and the thought is: let me judge the book (regardless of chapter).

When the bigger thought is: what power exists that sent this to me?

Thats why whether you agree with Jesus or not his message is a prophecy of contact

Matthew 9:20-22
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

The thing is, you (like Muslims) thrive on the “ambiguous” nature of scripture and how everything can be open to interpretation

I think that’s the beauty of the Bible and it’s parables

It’s literally what you make it.

It doesn’t force you how to believe.

Some people over think and can’t even hear the real message even if it’s obvious and others over simplify what’s has levels to it

It’s simple yet complex nature allows it to be “Alive” for all generations/all time

And debated forever

All this opens the door to a lot of false prophets/teachers Jesus warns of and subsequently false religions

But as far as the Bible goes…. As KG would say:

“anything is possible”

Why would anyone want an entire book that’s straight forward in “black and white”

The core gospel message is clear (unless you are Muslim) and easy to understand. You can believe it or choose not to

But after that things can get interesting

I think to understand muslims is to first try to understand groups as an idea

there is you and God, and then there is the Group and God

which relationship is more likely to create lasting emotions to the believer?

did the group speak to the soil and breathe into the mans nostrils life, or did God do that?

I guess this explains why “Allah” is always referred to as “WE” and Muslims are “They/them”

In the Bible “The Father” is one. And he deals with individuals “face to face” :yayo:

The group or “race” based theology is where MAN misinterpreted things

You interpret it that way but the other consideration is this

whats better, seeing reality as one or as a group? :jbhmm:

so when you read the Quran it "says" we but it could also be referring to the reader of its text and the text itself, and remember Hagar's son Ishmael his name means "God has heard".

then compare that too:

Psalm 2:4-5

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

until Ishamel plays the role of comedian hes not in the wilderness :umad:

Genesis 49:16-18
16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

18 I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.
Methegammah
(bridle of the metropolis), a place which David took from the Philistines, apparently in his last war with them. (2 Samuel 8:1) Ammah may be taken as meaning "mother-city" or "metropolis," comp. (2 Samuel 20:19) and Metheg-he-Ammah "the bridle of the mother-city"
viz. of Gath, the chief town of the Philistines.

Its in line with what we are discussing. And the first video you posted cosigns my stance.

Bro the truth stands alone. You’re mad at the pastor for reminding u of the truth. Nothing u say can make Christmas part of the Bible.

The truth may or may not exist within this pastor. The holy spirit is the spirit of truth. The bible isnt the only asset we use to seek truth. The holy spirit is forever evolving. If it wasnt, how could it be a "helper" for modern man? If it was such a relic that it couldnt advise humans of today and 2000 years from now? The truth is in you if youve been blessed enough to recieve the spirit of truth from God.

Im a Christian who doesnt believe in Jesus in the way most Christians do. That he was literally the SON of God. This would be considered "pagan",but I consider most Christians to be pagan as "Jesus" isnt something to believe in. Worshipping Jesus is essentially idol worship by the modern Christians:respect:
