saul almost killing Jonathan with the spear :lupe:
David on the run being a mercenary for the Phillistines...
Tamar raped by her brother
David son Absolom wanting all the smoke
Etc

nikkas can’t tell me that wouldn’t be a better tv series than game of thrones

Saul telling the soldiers to kill the priests that gave david and his men food and the soldiers denying only for one man to kill 80 plus priests :wow:

I forgot the verse but its in samuel when david is on the run from Saul and he's in some small town and Saul is on his way there, and he asks God "will the people of this town give me over to saul if I stay" and God said yup
So david left

If david stayed he would have been turned over to Saul and killed

Yeah, Im with you on that, the thing I take issue with is when Christians down play how much the Bible condones slavery

The God in the Bible doesn't condemn slavery like he should if he's supposed to be all loving. Instead he sets rules for how it should be run. Also calls for the Hebrews to enslave certain people during key parts of the Bible.

Even if it isn't chattel slavery, any form of slavery is bad and should always be eliminated.

But of course, thats easier said than done :francis:
Who told you this? :pachaha:

Brehs need to stop wasting time questioning and instead try to.win as many souls to guide them to GOD and thus heaven.

It's a spiritual battle out there..the goal is to get one less person going to hell.
.thing is many of us have chosen hell...scary part is alot don't even know it.

Cacs and Jews edited and censored the original Bible..

They didn't censor anything. You can find everything you need to know about it if you study. The same stuff in the Bible can be traced back to Mesopotamian history. Abraham came out of Mesopotamia. Egyptian history, Babylonian history, Persian history, Greek history, Roman history all backs up what's in the bible.

Because slavery was 7 years long and then you got your freedom and some cash. There were even "holidays" where you could and supposed to free your slaves early.

Slavery pre 1500 is very different than slavery post 1500.
Would you be a slave under those circumstances?

99.3% of people need a single pre packaged document, and this is why they split it up and removed books.

But why remove books in the first place, that's what should cause concern.

They didn't believe in a lot of the apocryphal language in those books. A lot of those books weren't written by the people who the book is named after. Some were written in the Second Temple period after the events they are talking about.

They were trying to put books in the bible that they could trace back to the author. Enoch was not written by Enoch. It was written by Jewish scholars back in the Second Temple period. They were trying to give the history of Israel, through the eyes of people that lived in the time, up until the time of Jesus and his disciples.
