Four kids and only one of them playing girls sports. That’s what all of this is about. Four kids who aren’t dominating or winning trophies or taking scholarships. Four kids who are just trying to find some friends and feel like they are a part of something. Four kids trying to get through each day. Rarely has so much fear and anger been directed at so few. I don’t understand what they are going through or why they feel the way they do. But I want them to live. And all the research shows that even a little acceptance and connection can reduce suicidality significantly. For that reason, as much as any other, I have taken this action in the hope that we can continue to work together and find a better way. If a veto override occurs, I hope we can work to find ways to show these four kids that we love them and they have a place in our state.”

I don’t believe it’s wrong and stupid. As the governor of Utah said, it’s a few kids trying to find belonging and comradeship and the vast majority of trans people aren’t invading sports. Is a non issue and I’m not going to get emotional over a non-issue.

I don’t even know who the person is in the picture, where they are from or what their situation is. Again I’m not conservative minded so showing me a picture without information about it isn’t going to make me want to go out and harm a trans person. My mind doesn’t work like that.

As our resident cac generously illustrates.... cacs don't care about kids dying. Even their own. They tell us this over and over again. I don't know why they always try to go that route.

LGBQTDEE2+1 stans have to come up with a better strategy. Something hateful, that gets cacs inspired.

The disconnect is the parent.

If your male child feels that he is a female (socially) then sit him down, explain to him that you love accept etc him, enough to let him identify as a female even though he is BIOLOGICALLY a male.

Then when that same male child - who identifies as a female - wants to play sports against biological females - explain to him that his biological differences would allow him an unfair advantage.

If that male child wants to continue to play sports then you simply say: out of respect to female athletes your choices are to play male sports with other children who are on the same hormonal path as you biologically, or you sit out of said sport to respect females (which you want to fit in with) biologically.
