Sylvia’s been living off legacy since like 1998. Are you serious right now?

Not even. I remember going there around 1993 when white people was starting to get comfortable venturing past 96th street. The food had slapped before, but Sylvia had started branching out into canned goods and stuff, and I think the quality of the food started going down. I went to the restaurant with some friends, and as I looked at the patrons, when the black folk got their food, they would take a couple bites then hit up that salt and pepper... The white folks would get their food and right away it was :eat:I remember being mad at having made the trip all the way from Brooklyn when I could have easily gone to the Carolina Country Kitchen on Atlantic and Saratoga, 10-15 minutes from the crib...

The only times I’ve been on system island is to drive from LI to jersey or down south.

I saw this a while back and thought about driving out there to try it… but I ain’t going all the way out there.

Only time I ever spent any real amount of time in Staten Island was way back in the day when we used to go there on Friday nights and hoop at this spot called Cromwell. Had like 16 full courts, used to run all night in there.

That and the time that them city scofflaw niiggaz towed my car from in front of the babysitter's house in BROOKLYN, (tickets was bogus) and after having to go downtown and pay the fine, ask them where my car is at, they tell me "Staten Island" :martin: .... And not even nowhere in Staten Island that a niigga would know how to access. Niigga needed a tour guide just to get to his whip. It was like 10 in the morning when this fiasco started, and I still almost missed getting to my car before 5:00 when the spot closed. And still had to deal with rush hour traffic tryna get back to BK... Getting heated again just thinking about it.

Why yall ain't tell nobody :aicmon:

Staten Island has no type of attractions that makes people not from there want to go there :mjlol:

It was always funny when I rode the SI Ferry to Staten Island and all those tourists that be on the boat and as soon as the boat docks and lets everyone off, all of the tourists do that Abe Simpson GIF and go on the other side of the terminal to catch the next boat back to Manhattan :mjlol:
It’s a free boat ride, I used to take shortys on that shyt and bring some wine and snacks. Found out most them them never been on that ferry and I closed some deals with minimal money spent

Back when it was a token/metrocard charge.
Convincing chicks that you're taking them on a cruise line for less than $10 round trip.

Brooklyn dudes are crafty.
Hehehehe

My guy, obviously you are unfamiliar. Ain't nobody going to Staten Island or Far Rockaway unless you really have to go there. It's not like The Bronx or Brooklyn. Both locations you got to go over water to get there so unless you really have to go to these locations ain't nobody going over there like that to mingle. The people who would be very familiar with Staten Island and Far Rockaway would be the people who actually live there.
