What kind of tears tho, can you tell me without spoiling the movie...
If its a death, i can deal, but them sentimental ones be having me :to:
last movie that had me was Toy Story 3

it really wasnt that sad to me because you saw it coming and yes it is death. But the sad scenes are really short.

This movie :wow: :to:

If ya'll don't go out and support this then you fukking deserve nothing but Tyler Perry movies. Not to shyt on him because like his stuff or not, he's putting black people to work, but Best Man Holiday is a really, really dope flick and does well by us without trying too hard to be a black movie.

Hollywood needs this, so let's keep putting our money where our mouth is.

lol, like I said the movie was cool. but it's funny how ya'll are praising this while shitting on Tyler Perry when the movie was clearly influenced by him and his over the top soap opera story lines. the first movie was way more laid-back and less overdramatic than this. I can almost guarantee you the sequel wouldn't have all the blatant Christian references and melodrama if Tyler Perry didn't become so successful in the 14 years since the last film

There's nothing wrong with Tyler Perry's movies if he wouldn't fly off the rails with his concepts and get way too preachy. Best Man was a lot more subtle in the "show don't tell" approach, as opposed to doing the same tried and true formula and hitting you in the head with it. Plus, Tyler's movies quickly become a free fall into despair with little rhyme or reason, making it incredibly hard to suspend my disbelief. Like how a sequel can start off having you like awww shyt, but then they go waaaay too over the top trying to hit a home run with antics instead of sticking to story and staying true to the characters.

Nah don't get me wrong bruh, outside of the first Why Did I Get Married, I think Tyler Perry's movies are terrible and this was clearly better. I'm just saying, the influence was definitely there. A lot of times it felt like a slightly better Tyler Perry flick in the second half of the film.

I'm the same way. I would shyt on Tyler Perry but gave him a chance with Why Did I get Married and enjoyed it. But everything after that :snoop:

Did you see the sequel?

Malik Yoba's madness :wtf:
Janet Jackson going crazy :wtf:
The Rock's inexplicable appearance?! :wtf: :snoop: :troll::mindblown:

lol I didn't bother watching the sequel. I saw the trailer, had an idea of where they were gonna go with it and was like, "yeah, I'm gonna skip this one"

I cried at one point, my man didn't. I kept looking at him when I was and he would shake his head and look away. That's about the same as him crying though :ld:
