Let's hear the story

Going into my freshman year. Was playing on varsity at the University of North Florida team camp. Vince was going into his senior year. He just won state. Just won mr. basketball. Just committed to UNC. But I was a big headed (soon to be) Freshman, playing varsity. I was like 'fukk this big head dude.. watch this fellas'

He dropped 37 on my head. In a half. Literally. ON me. I guarded dude the whole first half. He was a 6'6 wing. I was a 6'6 wing. Blah blah blah.


We won the game tho.

(They sat their starters the second half.)

They had a damn good pint guard named TT Toliver too. He ended up playing somewhere. I just can't remember where. I know he ended up playing in the arena league. Won an MVP or two too. Damn good athlete.

Ya'll wouldn't believe me if I told yall who all we played while I was in high school.

Growing up I saw or played against most of the top players from the NYC tri-state area in the last 25 years, and that being sad I saw LeBron play in a tiny gym in South Jamaica Queens ( is8) against other Big Time Players and future Pros and there was clear separation from an athletic standpoint even though he played like shyt in both games.

went to school with him. sitting front row told that nikka to do a 360 he said he was gone go between the legs. he did neither. caught a nikka slipping dunked on em nasty. team tried to do a full court pass immediately after the dunk he picked it off and dunked on the same nikka worse than the first dunk. i got up and left the game smh.

i was young tho. mcfadden got shut down somewhat in the game i saw . he broke a 90 or a 80 yard run at the start of the game then my sister’s school shut em down after that.
