Went to Gary West Side and all them NWI boys was crazy. But Jeff Samardja on the mound....

Joe Mauer....and it isn't even close for me. Especially if you're talking all around athlete. He was the USA Today high school player of the year in Football and Baseball....and all state in basketball. He was drafted number one overall in the mlb draft and I think he was actually a better football player. He was such a good QB and it looked so effortless. He could have been an elite NFL qb no question.

Adrian Peterson when he played for Palestine (TX) H.S. dude was a grown ass man back then.

Cedric Benson at Midland Lee....I was in middle school but our local high school played them in the TX state semifinals. Squad was a machine. Our boys started the season 0-4 but came within 60 mins of playing for a state title.

Malcolm Kelly @ Longview HS...big ass WR ended up playing at OU.

All the lineman at Euless Trinity (TX). O line looks NFL ready in high school
